Thanks, I have come across that in my floundering. The problem is that as a
newbie I have no idea what information is right, wrong, or indifferent, and
the fact that the documentation supplied is not correct just gets people off
to a bad start. This is not the introduction that any product needs.

I've subsequently managed to suss out how to get my test application exe
installed by including the file in the wxs file - though even that wasn't
plain sailing as the supplied documentation doesn't really tell you the
basics of how it hangs together - it sort of assumes you already know or can
gain that knowledge by ESP. The information may well be there somewhere,
it's just not where it's needed.
