Ahh, that is absolutely a bug in the documentation. Please do file it. The
harvesting related steps there need to be removed or, at least, moved to a
footnote with a pointer to the documentation that says how harvesting is
disabled by default.
That is absolutely the kind of bug we can miss when updating documentation.
