Today while working on another issue, I added the paths to the WiX source and pdbs to the Visual Studio options and found that I could launch my setup, attach to it, and debug into the WiX code. Also for developing CAs there is a good tool called catest which I have not used with WiX yet. I have yet to work on installing my services but that is on my list if issues.
