Nick, you were right...and I was looking in the wrong file :( Reading the WixUI_adanced.wxs (and not the - wrong - AdvancedWelcomeEulaDlg.wxs) file, I've found Publish action with Order param. So I've update my file as follow:
<Publish Dialog="AdvancedWelcomeEulaDlg" Control="Advanced" Event="NewDialog" Value="VIV_SelectArchDlg">LicenseAccepted = "1"</Publish> <Publish Dialog="InstallDirDlg" Control="Back" Event="NewDialog" Value="VIV_SelectArchDlg">1</Publish> Have been updated to: <Publish Dialog="AdvancedWelcomeEulaDlg" Control="Advanced" Event="NewDialog" Value="VIV_SelectArchDlg" Order="3">!(wix.WixUISupportPerMachine) AND NOT !(wix.WixUISupportPerUser)</Publish> <Publish Dialog="InstallDirDlg" Control="Back" Event="NewDialog" Value="VIV_SelectArchDlg">NOT !(wix.WixUISupportPerUser)</Publish> And it works Thank you for your help. Did you replace/remove the old Publish elements that were directing the user elsewhere? Looks like in the WixUI_Advanced.wxs, there are there Publish elements, each taking the user somewhere else depending on a condition. 2. Does your Publish element have an Order property? If not, be sure to add that. -- View this message in context: http://windows-installer-xml-wix-toolset.687559.n2.nabble.com/Inserting-a-dialog-when-user-click-on-the-Advanced-button-tp7590321p7590345.html Sent from the wix-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ November Webinars for C, C++, Fortran Developers Accelerate application performance with scalable programming models.
