I don't want to look more important than I am, but given
the current situation I feel some responsibility to let
things be clear.

My git repo is an _alternative_ to the official Window Maker
unless otherwise stated. I don't want to pretend that it is
relevant to anyone else than myself.

Window Maker is/was an open source project, and it was stalled
for a few years and the one from my distro was missing a few
bug fixes. In the internet you could find people saying "I
wish this" or "I wish that" etc. The original developers
were no longer active for some reason or another, so there
was no point to wait for a change in the status quo. Not
that the status quo needed to change that much, but anyway.

Due to the wonders of open source, I decided to do something
about it.

So my git repo is my humble attempt to have something
updated for myself, in a very selfish way. If others
find it useful for them too, go for it! I really appreciate
any feedback, especially if it makes my own usage a bit
better and if it has the potential to avoid any possible
crash or any one-second annoyance I might have in the future.
So patches are even more welcome if you feel like helping.

I collected the bug fixes which I found, coded by various
competent people along the past years. So I do think that
my effort was worth, the wmaker I am using right now is
behaving the way I like and is a bit more powerful at handling
windows than before.

In the end _I_ am happier. Some other people may be a bit
happier too.

But don't get me wrong. My git repo has a -crm in there,
it is not the "official" Window Maker. Because I don't
want to create any problems for myself, I only want
the joy of it :-)

Everyone is free to choose which wmaker to run. If you
believe you can make things better by tweaking my repo,
that is good for me and for you. If you don't care and
don't use my repo, I don't care too. It is that simple.

I am happy that there are people who care, and I thank
them all for the feedback, the testing, the patches and
for the comments.
