I appreciate you being that modest. I for myself am very happy with your git repo and do thank you for all the time you invested. The same, of course, applies to all people who started WindowMaker, invested time, and contributed patches. I personally do not care whose repo is official. I share your feelings about mercurial (I currently have to use it at work and find it horrible), and I love having bugs fixed and featues added which I have missed for a long time. I hope that this work makes its way to being "official" someday. This may be by merging those changes into the central hg repo, but IMO replacing hg by git if more people like it would be a perfectly reasonable option, too. Maybe Dan or John would like to comment on how they see future development on WM?
