majority of wm users value "no surprises" quite highly...)

As Nicolas said, all of these default settings would only affect new
setups via wmaker.inst and none of my suggestions would affect current
users settings.
Also the compile time options won't affect current users setups.
I don't think wmaker users will curse loud with these settings though. I
think it will just save af few minutes after running the initial setup.
I've been careful with the proposed changes.
I understand that this topic could be kind of annoying because we're all
exigent users and most of us have a customized setup.
I still think these are common sense settings and they wont produce any
problems considering current hardware.
