Hi All I am currently working on porting WINGs to cairo. At this stage we also have the option to change the way WINGs looks.
The legacy Alfredo and Dan left us has some OSX Aqua-ish looking buttons in the cairo branch (run wtest to see). Since I have to do the drawing code for all the widgets anyway, we have three options: 1) Try and copy the current (next branch) WINGs look exactly, but just do the drawing with cairo. I must say the current WINGs does look a bit dated. 2) Continue with the current (cairo branch) OSX Aqua-ish look. Since Alfredo and Dan only left us with a look for the buttons, we will have to come up with designs for the rest (scrollbars, panels, etc etc) ourselves. If someone feels like doing mockups for these, please step up. 3) Choose a GTK or QT theme we all like and try and copy that. Because WINGs is not themable this will have to be pretty neutral so it works for everybody. Since I am not much of an artist, I will probably go with (3) if left to my own devices. So, please let me know what you think, or send a suggestion for a theme you like.
