i find this completely counterintutive as this means that from the 
time of the first abi breakage until next release you are potentially 
screwed. changing on first brakage and then not changing on subsequent 
brakages until next release is rather more logical.

however, since what we don't have are releases or known external 
consumers of wings/wutil, it doesn't really matter... i just did the 
bump to show people's subconscious that modifying a lib doesn't end at 
modifying the lib :)

that's completely up to carlos. i think he bumped versions once or 
twice already (we did start at 0.92-crm iirc). i personally would say 
"not yet". there's lots to be done before the code base gets in any 
form resembling a... code base.

i understand distributors may find this annoying, but on the other 
hand they have always been able to include scm snapshot packages in 
distros, which they can do fine with us too. we are quite careful for 
even next to be always usable (mkay, stop pointing fingers ;P), but if 
one wants to err on the safe side, they can always chose master.

the only downside of this is not having stably named source archives 
at stable locations.
