Make sure you have X and it's headers and libraries (the -devel packages
in Linux) installed.
encompass@tabacso:~/Programming/wmaker-crm$ sudo apt-get install x
As you are obviously using a Debian-like distro I would suggest
you build using the Debian tools. The code from Carlos' repo
already contains what you need. You enter the source dir and
issue `fakeroot dpkg-buildpackage -b'. Of course, the `fakeroot'
and `dpkg-buildpackage' programs need to be installed. Once
you've got there you'll be told nicely which packages are
missing.

If you are not running on any architecture other than x86, why
not use the precompiled packages?

Sorry, been on vacation (holiday) here or I would have replied sooner. :P

Anyway, if you need the 64bit debs I have them (along with Martin's
32bit debs) in my repo:

http://repo.liquidlemur.org

Or you could just grab my distro from:

http://liquidlemur.org :D

Mine are current as of 05-26-2011. I'll be doing some new builds when I
get back. :p

Cheers,

Ed

Thanks for the pointers guys.
I was able to get the entire thing to compile and install, however I have some issues with the xserver now. I worry about the repo as it has many other items. Won't that interfere with the installation of all my other stuff? I think I will try to build my own debs in the mean time and see how that comes along. It's all worth the experience. :)
I have a 64bit processor.
And about Lemur, I am thought about it and I now help on bittorrent with it, but I have yet to try it.
BR,
Jason
