Hi, Not that I'd want to revive an old topic (okay, not that old, only a week old), but from a little investigations, I would tend to give my 100% vote on removing it. It is a duplicate of the "noupdate" flag, they both were designed to do the same thing, with the different that "nopolling" was never implemented properly; and that I believe "noupdate" is a little bit closer to what the function really is.
