FWIW, x11/docker works really well for this purpose, with the limitation
being that it can only hold 4 tray icons. That's not a problem for me,
but I understand it can be for others which is why I'm going to port
wmsystemtray.

Thanks for the reply.
There is the occasion that I do have more than four tray icons.
A system tray like this might be a good idea to have built into
Windowmaker since a great number of items now have such a feature.
Perhaps just a a little option to turn it on or off so that you could
easily use another tray instead of the built in one.
