Oshani, I review your code and it looks good, although it will need the Apache copyright boilerplate text at the top of each file. I have been trying to test it against the AllWodenTests testsuite. I get 46 junit failures which mostly seem to indicate that a null DescriptionElement has been returned. Did you run your StAX/OM implementation against the test suite and if so, what results did you see?
