Flesh Toned Qwiggle Eerie Eyeball Jello Mold Recipe 

 



Here's looking at ya! ....literally. All you need is an eyeball jello mold, and 
a few ingredients. Making jello eyeball is a great Halloween party food idea. 
Just make sure to make plemty of these bite-sized, eye popping treats. 


Lost the recipe for your Jello Eyeball Mold? No problem, here it is. 


Cleaning the Mold: 

  1.. Wash the entire inside cavity of the plastic Eyeball mold using a soft 
sponge, dish soap, and warm water before each use. 

  2.. Use care to avoid puncturing a hole in the thin areas of the plastic mold 
while washing and drying it. 

  3.. Dry thoroughly before use. 



Ingredients: 

  1.. Three teaspoons of unflavored gelatin (granulated type) 

  2.. Food coloring (blue, green, red and yellow) 

  3.. Cooking Oil Spray 

  4.. Three tablespoons low fat milk. 

  5.. One and one half tablespoon sugar. 

  6.. One half tablespoon imitation lemon or coconut extract. (your choice) 

  7.. Cold and boiled water 

  8.. Straw, cotton ball, toothpick, and a container with a small spout for 
filling. 


Instructions for Whites of Eyes: 

  1.. Spray a small amount of cooking oil inside of the cavity of the plastic 
mold. 

  2.. Snap the two sections of the mold together. 

  3.. Put two and 1/2 teaspoons of gelatin in a bowl. 

  4.. Add 1/4 cup boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved. 

  5.. Add 1/4 cup cold water and stir well. 

  6.. Stir in three tablespoons of low fat or light milk, 1/2 tablespoon of 
extract, and 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar. Stir well. 

  7.. Using a container with a small spout, pour the liquid into the openings 
of the mold. 

  8.. Push the plastic corks into the openings so the liquid doesn't seep out. 

  9.. Place the mold in the refrigerator overnight. 

  10.. After the gelatin solidifies, open the mold and take out the white 
eyes(spheres). Cut off any part of the stem that may have formed on the gelatin 
mold. This will leave a flat base so that the eyes will stand. 


Iris Eye Color Instructions: 

  1.. Put 1/2 teaspoon gelatin in a small bowl. Add 1 tablespoon boiling water. 
Stir until dissolved. 

  2.. Stir in 1 tablespoon cold water. 

  3.. Add a drop or two of any food coloring that you desire, and stir. 

  4.. Use a straw to fill the iris craters by first dipping one end of the 
straw into the liquid. Then, place your thumb over the other end of the straw 
to trap the liquid in the straw. 

  5.. Release the liquid from the straw into the iris until it is filled. The 
iris will solidify in the refrigerator within minutes. 


Making the Pupil in the Eye: 

  1.. Mix the following food colors in a small bowl: 2 drops red, 1 drop blue, 
and one drop green. 

  2.. Dip the end of a toothpick into this mixture. Jab the toothpick into the 
middle of the iris. 

  3.. Repeat the process until the pupil is large enough to see. 


Making the Bloodshot Eye Effect: 

  1.. Drop a few drops of red food coloring onto a plate. 

  2.. Take a cotton ball or a Q-tip and loosen the fibers so that they look 
frayed. 

  3.. Dip the cotton lightly into the food coloring. 

  4.. Lightly dab the white part of the eyeball until the desired effect is 
achieved.
