On http://wpkg.org it states "work with Windows 9x, Me, 2000, XP Pro/Home and 2003 clients," but based on info elsewhere and on my experience, that is incorrect. Doesn't wpkg require Windows 2000? For example, Windows 95, WSH 5.6, and wpkg 0.9.2 aborts with the error:

Could not create object named "WScript.Network"

I think I tested it once on a Windows 98 system, and it did work.

Maybe it doesn't work for Windows 95 though?

What version of Internet Explorer have you installed on your Windows 95?
The Windows 95 has the latest version that Windows Updates and Microsoft allow: MSIE version 5.50, but now I apologize because I tested wpkg 0.9.7 on Windows 98, and that did work.

Perhaps I should change 9x to 98 on the webpage then.
