Hello Stefan,
I have just checked and the Win2k systems where FP11 fails to install don't
have VC++ Redistributables 2008 installed.
Might be worth a try.
VC++ redists had been on the system, but after all I had success doing
the following:
Using IE I opened www.adobe.com/software/flash/about,
asking a question to install flash player.
After clicking on install, the same installation as usual
was done. But then, the page showed:
[an error occurred while processing this directive]
You have version 11,0,1,152 installed
After reloading the page, flash player loaded and all was fine.
Of course I had to try uninstalling/reinstalling now using
AdobeFlashPlayer package. But same again - "failed checking ..."
Using the above method via www.adobe.com/software/flash/about the
installation succeeded again. So, there seems to be a certain
difference between the distribution exe and the online installation.
Thanx for your assistance
and have a nice day
Falko
