Title: Problems with virtual folders

I have used mapped drives as well via the actual mapped drive letter. The WS_FTP Server GUI does not allow you to browse to the folders on the mapped drive therefore you need to type in the full path including drive letter. Be aware however that using a mapped drive to house folders will degrade performance significantly than having the folders locally resident on the FTP server.   I have been in talks with IPSwitch discussing their application being deployed in a HA/Redundant/Load-Balanced environment and so far there has been no movement on those issues.   The architecture I have created uses a SQL database for user accounts/authentication, all folders are stored on a Data server/SAN device and the FTP servers are configured with mapped drives to those servers. Overall performance is very slow compared to all components, (User Accounts, Folders, and Data) being stored locally.
