I would recommend creating a user account in AD for WS_FTP Server and then run the NT service as that user.

Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] Active Directoy on 2003 and WSFTP Server

I am attempting to set up WSFTP Server v5 with Active Directory on a Windows 2003 server box. I know there are issues with certain setting in the security to allow the users to be populated from the AD into the WSFTP Manager, and right now it is telling me that it cannot start the service due to not being able to login to the machine properly.

Is there any documentation for the 2003./AD scenario? Some of the settings that appear relevant in Win 2000 have changed locations / definitions in 2003.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
