Settings are not automatically transferable from v1.3 to v1.4, ongoing
they will be automatically carried across versions. You may wish to move
your v1.3 log files across to the new log directory, they are compatible.

Assuming you are using SmartSDR. You should be able to set SmartSDR in
TS2000 emulation mode and have the WSJT-X "Settings->Radio" along the
following lines (these settings should work with DDUtil as well):

Rig: Kenwood TS2000
Serial Port: your CAT COM port
Baud rate: match your SmartSDR setting
Data bits: 8
Stop bits: 1
Handshake: Hardware (maybe None, try both)
Force control lines: none
PTT Method: CAT
Mode: Data/Pkt (USB is also usable but not preferred)
Split operation: None (set your SDR Tx and Rx bandwidth to at least 4kHz
for dual mode operation)

What error message are you getting?
