Hi Greg and all,

Subject: [wsjt-devel] ISCAT in WSJT-X

Hi all,

I'm writing to keep everyone up to date on what's happening with WSJT-X
in the experimental branch.

Effective with code revision r5666, WSJT-X includes most of what's
needed to be operational in ISCAT mode. The mode might be fully
operational (though perhaps with a few rough edges) within a few days.

---------------- oooo0000oooo----------------

When one looks into "WSJT" "wsjt.py" the version is in plain text.

In WSJT-X the version number comes from the SVN repository, not so easy
to spot.

And, having compiled and run up WSJT-X 1.6.1-devel, I cannot see
in "Help -> About" any Revision number.

This makes it hard to comment on features/problems, referring to an
exact Revision number.

Some observations: I start WSJT-X 1.6.1-devel in JT9 mode, the Wide Graph
appears (as it should). I then select ISCAT mode and the Fast Graph appears.
If I then select JT9 mode, the Fast Graph stays there, doesn't update.
No Wide graph comes up.

And, Echo mode bombs out with:
wsjtx_exp/lib/jplsubs.f (unit = 12, file = 'm')
wsjtx_exp/JPLEPH' does not exist

Keep Smiling
