Joe - For the record, I ran the jt65 test program with twopass decoding on my batch of crowded-band 20m hf files last night. For reference, with v1.5 and kvasd I get 3125 decodes. With the twopass test program I got 4059 decodes. So it seems that this approach offers the potential for very significant improvements under crowded-band conditions. . Now, need to figure out how to speed it up.
Here’s just one of many examples showing two decodes on the same frequency (1259 Hz). (The first number indicates which pass the decodes came from.)
