Set the following on the transceiver: • Mode: CW • AF control: Center • Menu No. 34 (CW RX pitch): 800 Hz • SHIFT control: 800 Hz • RIT function: OFF • Break-in function (VOX): OFF then close the key to generate an 800Hz CW side tone without transmitting. Run WSJT-X through a full period to record a WAV file with just that side tone and analyse the file for glitches in the audio.
