I agree with Greg.

FT8 combines the best of 'slow' and 'fast' modes but operationally it's
quite challenging because there's a lot of information to absorb and
very little thinking time. More automation is appropriate, IMHO.

As far as grabbing a response to a CQ from the stack goes, for general
DXing it might be nice if instead of grabbing the first off the stack,
it gives priority to (1) unworked DXCC entities, (2) unworked callsigns,
(3) anyone else. Just a thought.

Also, for stations responding to a CQ, it would be helpful to disable
the TX if the CQing station has responded to someone else.
