Understood, the program is parsing the line to get the 73, but this needs to be emphasized that a 73 must be in the line (hopefully an RR73 won't cause a grid change) but I've seen stuff like QRZ 10W TU as a sign off nd that's it.

Hi Neil,

there is no need for a reply to a sign off message but if it contains the word "73" it should work the same as a standard 73 message.
