At many places, a good reception of the signal of these time signal
transmitters is more difficult than using the GPS system. You will
probably have to spend an own receiver for the time signal, in order to
have it available all the time. Myself, I have tried to synchronize the
local PC clock to such a time signal transmitter, but only in intervals,
because of an unique receiver available. I was not really successful.
Because of the too large drift of the PC clock, it was necessary to
readjust every half hour. No really a good solution for a DXpedition.
