In the assumed DXpedition pileup situation the frequency range 1000 - 4000 Hz above USB dial frequency is filled with baying hounds, all calling the Fox. You were lucky that Fox picked your call out of the QRM. You have little reason for confidence that your signal would come out on top again, in Fox's next Rx sequence.

On the other hand, the frequency range 300 - 900 Hz is kept clear of Hounds. That's why your “R+rpt” message will be transmitted there, so Fox is sure to copy it.
