Tom, It's easily fixable. I had the same sort of issue with the "Hold TX Frequency" box when switching from MSK144. G4WIS pointed out to me that the easy fix was to set up a separate configuration for FT8 and use it to switch modes. I did so and all was well. My settings always come back to the same place, now . Make two configurations, one for FT8 and another for JT65.
RTFM to find out how to do configurations. Life will be good... 73, Ted K9IMM -----Original Message----- From: Tom Melvin [mailto:t...@tkrh.co.uk] Sent: Tuesday, June 26, 2018 8:32 AM To: WSJT software development Subject: [wsjt-devel] Call 1st Bug Fix Hi All Is there a 'to do' list that is visible outside the dev team? The annoying bug where you loose 'call 1st' - would like to see where (if at all) is in the system. OS. Windows 7 WSJT Version - every version since about 1.8rc1 To simulate: In FT8 mode make sure 'Call 1st' is ticked. Change mode to JT65 Change Mode back to FT8 - 'Call 1st' no longer selected. Last time mentioned it was 'Just setup a new configuration' - yes that works but sometimes forget and just select mode - it's also quicker. Would be one less thing to worry about.
