You would think it’s that simple, but no. Icom’s required CT-17
level-converter, at $139, only works with an RS-232 connection on the PC.
USB-9pin converters are evidently not supported.
Very frustrating. This was a top of the line rig not too long ago. Built-in
Ethernet. Built-in RTTY and PSK.

According to the manual there is a DB-9 connector for CAT control.
Just need a USB adapter since the 7700 is already in WSJT-X with serial port
control.
