Hi David and all,
You should know that CW ID cannot be used with any FT8 transmission.
The blank interval (only ~2 seconds) at the end of an FT8 transmission
is much too short for a callsign at 25 WPM. Sending it at 60 WPM does
not seem very useful, either.

The 'tune' button will help with tuning, but not ID-ing. At least in the
US (and maybe also in Canada), it's always legal to ID using CW
regardless of the mode used for comms - you could use your key/keyer to
ID, or have a preset in your rig that fires off your callsign.
There is/was a CW ID option in 'normal' FT8 mode but I don't know if
that is intended to work w/ F&H mode.

Hi:
I've enjoyed watching the pile ups over the last few days while using
hound mode. Thanks to the development team for this mode.
I don't spend much time on HF and when I do I typically use a
vertical antenna fed with an auto tuner. So when changing bands I
need to feed RF into the auto tuner so will tune. To be legal I
need to Identify when I transmit.
In normal mode it is easy to simply transmit my call via a free message.
This doesn't seem to be possible without switching out of hound mode.
Not a huge issue but perhaps in the future a simple way to send
ones call could be provided while in Hound Mode ? I realize I can
send the TX one message but I don't like calling the DX station if I
can't hear them.
Switching to "message set number 2" on the main screen while in hound
mode and manually selecting a free message still results in the TX
one message being sent.
(The free message option is not available in "message set number 1")
