For your info - we don’t really need to keep a log unless asked to do so.

However, it is handy in-case there are ‘interference’ or ‘Bad signal’ reports - 
in advance of being asked. Also with some of the longer communications methods 
- Meter Scatter etc. the ‘length of the QSO is handy.
