Everyone has his own way to make qso, and there is the possibility to custimize the end of qso in the way you want...

My comment is that this not-compulsory part of the qso should not be pre-compiled by the software... otherwise tons of 73 and 73 replys will keep going on the band while the corrispondent is already away from that qso and there is no need for him to wait for it. Computers are doing this not the operator, so why should the software tell to pc to continously send a 73 and receive a reply for that when is not necessary ?

Do we really need my computer to say 73 to your computer continously untill both computers are satisfied ? In the meantime I would like to do something else...don't you think so ?

I think that the "subject" of this topic is wrong (I did it !....hi)...it should be "Why 73  in the pre-compiled" qso ? ---isn't it a waste of time?"...RRR AND RR73 are ok....these are the confirmation that the qso is completed, and also if somebody (like me) don't think they are necessary (also in Dxpedition mode it's not included) it's a good practice to give recepit to a message sent. So this is not the question... question is only (TX6) . Perhaps it could be possible to leave a TX6 free and blank so that anybody can fill it up as he prefers. But who decides all these things ?
Is there any of the developers listening...perhaps Bill is one of them...
Thanks.

Hi Carlo!

In my opinion I would prefer 73's from both partners as confirmation of
the QSO. Only then a QSO (in digital modes) is to be classified as being
complete for me.
