Uwe,
Yes. That was the problem. I had just discovered and fixed that, and found
your email. For some unknown reason BkTimeSync had stopped working. It was on
trial anyway, and was doing a good job. However when I was running Meinberg, I
never had a seconds trouble.

Thanks Uwe/

Dan, does your PC time eventually need to be synchronized? Check deviation at

Thanks John,
I usually call CQ 10 or more times, after setting tx/rx to a clear spot. My
power meter shows power out, so I am at least transmitting. I am on 7.074 as
Joe suggested, but I have my tx/rx bandwidth set to 4k so I can see well up the
band. One of the advantages of an SDR. Sound card setting are as they should
be and that verified because I can transmit and receive. The waterfall shows
more than a dozen signals but none are decoded. I should mention that I had a
similar experience on 20m this morning.

After posting the original email, I tried stepping bat to c1.9.1. No help. I
am running VM Banana for Virtual Audio and it’s been solid since installation
several months ago.

Dan,
What freq are you using on 40. I always use 7075. My freq gets changed once in
a while and I find I am not on the freq I think I am. hi.

I use PSK Reporter. Might give that a try and see if it shows anything
different.

When the rig is keyed does it show out put power. I had a problem a while back.
The rig was keyed but no out put.

One other thing you may want to check is your sound cards. I had a problem with
erratic behavior and found for some unknown reason the cards were changing. I
don't know if I ever figured out why but it's been working fine for some time
now.

When you call cq it may take a while. If you are only calling 3 or 4 times I
think you're a bit optimistic. hi
I look on the waterfall for what apears to be a clear spot and set my receive
and xmit there.

Hope that helps,
John-NA6Y

I am also running 2.0

Yesterday I downloaded and installed v2.0. No issue installing, and made a QSO
on the first run. Made several other QSO’s during the day, and thought all was
well. This morning? Nada…..nothing….sort of. I am getting a few decodes on
40 and 20 but it’s sparse. Enough to indicate decoding is working. Then I
tried calling CQ several time with no results whatever. Even HamSpots says
that I haven’t been heard in more than a day.

So do I just be patient and wait for a bigger v2.0 population or do I have a
problem? I suspect I am just being impatient.
