Paul..would you happen to be on one of the fast rings for Windows 10?
I never had this problem until I reinstalled Windows 10 and it's driving me
batty (not being able to figure out what's going on). But I haven't turned on
the fast ring updates yet.

@Mike: for Flex, sound devices are virtual Windows things and fed from a
network connection to the radio, so RF can't harm it unless we're talking about
a feed through to the network. But damages would be wider then, I guess.

more of a nuisance than any thing else but some thing is wrong.I don't know
whether its wsjt-x, WIN 10, the 6700 or my computer (although my Laptop does
