dr Bill! When writing a Log-QSO, why do interfaces of different versions 
appear? Why does the position of the buttons and their number change? Can this 
be due to the involvement of interfaces of this function from previous versions 
of the program that were previously used?

I understand you concerns, does such a change help? I should point out that 
changing the size or shape of the buttons such that they are dissimilar would 
defeat the purpose of the original change, as would making one of then a 
default button. I should also point out that hitting ESC, while the dialog has 
keyboard focus, still dismisses the Log QSO dialog *without logging a QSO" as 
it always has done.
