Hi Bill, changing frequency while transmitting works, so that doesn't seem to be the problem. CAT works generally, it just fails sometimes in random places so I think the cause is more like wsjtx issuing too many commands too fast, or not waiting long enough for a retry. Rarely, there seems to be a burst of rx/tx switches happening very fast for half a second.
