I went to the WSJT-X site and opened the PDF version of the 2.2.2 User
Guide and searched for "escape". There were no hits.
As noted in "Keyboard Shortcuts", when the WSJT-X main window has focus
the Esc key causes a transmission to stop, aborts any current QSO in
progress, and clears the DxCall and DxGrid fields.
Is Escape intended to close the Wide Graph window when it has focus and,
if so, where is that documented?
Not explicitly by intent of the WSJT-X programmers, no. But to
understand why it does this, try googling "qt esc close window".
