[wsjt-devel] WSJT-X - 2.4.0 startup screen handling

Hi, just after WSJT-X starts on my machine there's a bit of screen 
writing jumble in the status bar that appears for a few seconds, as 
screen grab attached.  It clears itself but presumably ideally shouldn't 
be there!  W10 x64

It's also present in 2.5.0-RC3
