Hi, I agree with Bill that more detail is needed, but one suggestion
from a gotcha I had with different software at one point - check the
stereo channels as sometimes only one is used, and/or try mono sound
settings instead of stereo.
On the rig settings I suggest also check that audio is being routed to
the connection port you have in use. Also learned that one the hard way :-)

connected to your PC for audio? Do you have a CAT connection? Which
application are you trying to run?
