I'm also using XFCE4 desktop but I get no errors when using refspec.dat. So I believe XFCE is not the problem.

The same observation here.

Hello Claude!

I'm using the openSUSE Tumbleweed version which is a "Rolling Distribution" or better the overall packages are updated almost daily.

I.E. my installed packages for the Fortran are the following:

gcc11-fortran-11.2.1+git610-1.12.x86_64
gcc10-fortran-10.3.1+git1893-2.12.x86_64
libgfortran5-11.2.1+git610-1.12.x86_64
gcc-fortran-11-4.1.x86_64

For this reason is possible that something has changed as Bill has noticed and that reflects to have none effects for you and Kari.

For Bill: Your patch has worked perfectly, now my WSJT-X works like a charm using Ref Spec. 😁

Anyway  I have not been able to use the Menu-->Tools-->Measure the Reference Spectrum: when I click there nothing happens.

I suppose I should see the graph you attached me showing my audio response.

Best regards,

Hi Marco,

thanks for the update on the patch.

You need to stop the reference spectrum capture after a minute or so by clicking the "Stop" button. That action saves a new refspec.dat file.

Thanks to you Bill!

I will follow your instructions and I'll create a new refspec.

Best regards!
