Right now, it feels like the watirbook is run somewhat differently from the
rest of the watir projects, where we don't really allocate contributions
amongst contributors. We are in the process of formalizing the Watir
project, with our SFC application, which defines the rules for how
we receive and allocate funds.

I'm going to interpret your question as a inquiry as to whether the
watirbook project would be eligible for inclusion with the greater Watir
project. My answer is that you are welcome to apply, your application would
need to be reviewed by the voting members of the Watir team, although, I
personally would be in favor of it. You would also have to combine finances
with the larger project. I'm not sure I would want to retain the
contributor-kickback structure you've obviously spent a lot of time on,
however. Again, I think this question would also have to be decided by the
Watir team as a whole. You also have some policies on refunds that I would
not want to have as part of the Watir project.

There is also a section in your book called "Me and My Book". This is one
of the things that makes it feel to me like a personal project instead of a
community project, but it sounds like this is something you are happy to
change and are eager to get other contributors. I think I would be more
eager to add it, if it actually was a project that more than one person was
contributing to. So maybe the next step should be for you to work on
finding more contributors.

That is how I see it. I am open to other interpretations.
