Hey,

I know you were looking at importing a number of Hixie's old tests into
the CSS 2.1 test suite, and you'd said they had mappings with
l...@rel='alternate'. Is there any better way to get a complete mapping
of old URL to new path except by running grep for 'hixie.ch' and then
parsing each of the files to get l...@rel='alternate' from it?

Nope. That's currently the best way. What were you planning to do with
this information?

Just try and create some mapping so that we can replace our copies of
them within our regression tracking system with the ones from the real
test suite without losing all history.

Makes sense. If you create that mapping, can you publish it somewhere?
(Like maybe ask hixie to put it up on his website.)

Yeah, sure.

Note that some tests were simply deleted. I can't remember what all the
reasons were, and unfortunately I did not track those in the SVN log.

You mean by that to imply they were once in SVN? I guess I could at least see which were in SVN at one stage.

And for tests where both an HTML and an XML version existed, I only kept
one. (I should have added two rel="alternate" links for those, but
didn't think of it soon enough.)

And then there will be another version generated through your html5lib/lxml fun? I'll try and work out something, sometime. :)
