As fas as I know, UdmSearch (now mnoGoSeach) does not support pattern
search. I haven't investigated the front ends thoroughly yet. The
architecture could support SQL "like" clause queries on words, but this
would propaply be slow.
But it does support recognition of grammatical variations, to a limited
extent. It can make use of Ispell dictionaries for this end. But, these
don't suit the purpose very well. A real morphology component would be
better.
