I have been in touch with the contact person at the mail-archive.com
web site. The FAQ says that it is not possible to remove messages
from the archive. I have been told that it is possible to get the
entire mailing list removed if I want.

The wwwoffle-users mailing list was not advertised as being archived
on the web when anybody signed up for it. If there is any person that
has sent a message to the list that does not want it archived I will
ask for the list to be removed. (You can e-mail me privately if you
don't want to broadcast this request to the whole list.)

For the current time I will leave the web site archiving new messages.
If there are no objections within the next few weeks I will add a link
to this archive from the WWWOFFLE web pages and make it clear to new
subscribers that the list is archived there.
