I have got the inclusion of this patch near the top of my TODO list.
I downloaded it fairly recently and I am all ready to add it when I
sort out a few things with it (not what it does, but the code that
does it).
On the subject of the beta testing, either very few people have tried
it or it works very well. There have been hardly any problems
reported with it once people can get it to compile. (Remove the calls
to the *_yylex_destroy() functions if you get errors about them when
compiling.)
