WWWOFFLE does use the access time of the files, but only for secondary
functions. It is possible to sort the indexes by access time and to
purge the cache using access time. The access time of the file is not
used for anything else.
Using this filesystem option may speed up the WWWOFFLE cache and you
wouldn't see any difference in how WWWOFFLE works if you don't use the
index or purge options described above. I don't know if the speed up
would be significant though.
