I use in Opera a web-based bookmarks file based on Perl scripts and an xml file. This works perfectly without the proxy, updating instantly if I make a change. With WWWoffle running, however, it does not, unless I close Opera and restart it. I use the bookmarks folder in the Opera panel and if I load it into the main window, open every folder and modification window one by one, clicking the browser's refresh button for each one, then fiddle about with the one in the panel I can eventually get it to update.
What is the problem please, anyone? And how can I fix it? I have scoured the help files, FAQ etc to no avail. I do not know if there is a connection here but WWWoffle retrieves these bookmark pages offline no trouble, but Opera alone will not, even though they are in the cache and I can open them with a file manager.
