there a better way than running one Master WWWOFFLE and one WWWOFFLE
each per user?
Do you mean sth. like running a local wwwoffle daemon on each box, requesting a cache server in a chain of proxies ?
Another idea could be to share /var/cache/http via NFS.



 The machine I want to run this on is a Pentium 100 with
40 MB RAM, OS is Debian.
HD speed then would be important.

I hope someone can answer to this, i'm interested too.
