Hi,

here is an idea that I think might be a nice addition to Wwwoffle:

When you request a URL, you get a confirmation page like

,----
| WWWOFFLE - World Wide Web Offline Explorer - v2.9a
| _________________________________________________________________
|
| WWWOFFLE Request Recorded
|
| Your request for URL
|
| http://esperanto.net/literaturo/sez/hurarecsez.htm
| has been recorded for download.
|
| [Refresh:Options|Monitor|Delete|Index|Configure]
| _________________________________________________________________
|
| WWWOFFLE - [Welcome Page|FAQ] - WWWOFFLE
`----

Wouldn't it be a great idea if this page also included a text field
that could be used to store some comments on that URL? Those comments
could be made accessible, e.g., via the HTML modification options, or
through the Info option, or even (optionally) in index listings.

The motivation for this: By the time the URLs have been fetched and I
am looking through the lastout listing I sometimes no longer recall
why I requested some page in the first place. It would be nice to
have a way of being reminded about this. At least for me.

So what do you think? Am I the only one with such a bad memory as to
forget why I ever wanted to look at some URL? If not, I would vote
for adding this as an extremely low priority item to some Wwwoffle
wish list.

Best regards,

Albert.
