For example, the change from svn 3083 to 3084 is just 4 lines in Alien::wxWidgets that makes the default install for 64 bit Mac OSX version 2.9.2. Could you send me an example of a media file that you can play to some degree at least in the wxWidgets samples on Linux and let me know the version on wxWidgets you managed to get this running on. I will then take a look at the build process for Ubuntu 11.04 and see if I can determine and fix the basic build problems.
