Does the CitrusPerl installation also load and install wxWidgets 2.9.4?
Yes it does.
citrusperl-standard-51601-20904-linux-x86-016.tar.gz has
wxWidgets 2.9.4
citrusperl-standard-51601-20812-linux-x86-016.tar.gz has
wxWidgets 2.8.12
I'll be making a new Citrus Perl release within the next 48 hrs or so
that sorts out a couple of long standing issues:
1) There's always a top level directory called CitrusPerl which I even
forget the reason for but it only gets in the way so I'm getting rid of
that.
2) I've built a simpler way of updating package groups so that I only
have to re-release the whole thing when Perl versions are released. The
existing 'update' facility was supposed to do that but of course, I
can't fix the problem in (1) by that route.
Installation of the existing Citrus Perl distributions should only take
a minute or so - but I didn't want you to perhaps spend time building /
installing a whole raft of modules of your own so close to a re-release.
